Ford Tries Social Media For The Fusion, Too

Ford Fusion owners who frequent Facebook have a chance to compete in a social media campaign and get their new ride paid off.

Hot on the heels of the Fiesta Movement, where socially networked participants have showed off their subcompacts while driving over a million miles in the process, Ford has announced that Fusion drivers with “a minimum of 100 Facebook friends and an active photo collection” can enter Fusion 41, a cross-country relay race named after the Fusion Hybrid’s city MPG estimate.

According to Ford, they’ll choose the winning team “based on their ability to complete the activities and provide proof by uploading photos and videos to various social media sites, including Facebook.”
